Description: | The event, a first, is entitled 'Find where you Fit' and we are inviting all the Christians in Woking to attend. People attending will have the opportunity to do just that, in terms of which agency is the best fit for them and how best they can help - prayer, funding, volunteering. The Christian agencies do much-needed, amazing, work in Woking which most individual churches simply couldn't do alone and they need our ongoing support. We are excited about the potential for helping believers to find where they fit in fulfilling God's great desire to show His love to Woking.

Description: | A morning with Tim Hawkins. Leading Children's and Young people's work can be tough. Even when everything has gone wrong on Sunday morning why is it worth continuing with Sunday school or youth group? We’ve asked Tim to encourage us in our work with Children and Young people to look at the picture and remember why it’s worth it. Tim Hawkins has been a youth pastor for over 40 years and brings a wonderful wealth of experience and unique style of presentation that will both encourage and challenge us to be thinking biblically and prayerfully about our ministry to children and young people.

Summary: | A Monk's Tale |
Description: | This show is about Martin Luther. And it's for people who aren't quite sure which Luther we're talking about. With a feeling of Horrible Histories and Monty Python, A Monk's Tale helps the audience understand the unfamiliar medieval mindset, and exactly what Luther was trying to do with his 95 Theses, which sparked one of the most significant movements in history: the Reformation. The show is light, accessible and funny, using sketches, and songs to explain the specifics of the story: the indulgences, purgatory, the sacraments and theological disputes of the period. As the play unfolds, the audience will be informed and challenged as well as entertained and amused. Suitable for all ages and all faiths, as well as skeptics, the fast-paced hour-long show also covers the Wycliffe and the Lollards, popes, princes and the seismic changes brought on by the internet of its time, the Printing Press. Cost £10 for adults, £5 for children. |
