YRP receives lots of enquiries from people interested in volunteering at the project and on 22nd January 2016, we are holding a volunteer open evening so you can find out more about us, the clients and how you can help. You will be able to talk to existing volunteers and hear their experiences.

During the evening you will be able to express your interest and complete a short application form. All volunteers will be subject to and enhanced DBS check.

Summary: Trinity Methodist Church Golden Jubilee Concert
Description:

The Epworth Choir and members of Trinity will be performing an uplifting selection of music and readings ranging from Handel’s Zadok the Priest to Rutter’s For The Beauty of the Earth. The concert will also feature Saxy Brass – a 7 piece brass and saxophone ensemble with students from Woking and Farnborough Colleges and Woking High School. They will also be playing a variety of music including Blues Brothers medley and The Great Escape.

Tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for children and students under 18, and can be bought from the box office office@trinitywoking.org.uk, W730754, or from any member of Trinity Methodist Church.

Description: It's not long before Pentecost and the ‘thy kingdom come' celebrations. Many people up and down the country, and in Woking will be praying over the week of 8-15th May for people to come to know Jesus Christ.

At ChristChurch Woking on Saturday 14th May, we will be having a Celebration in the evening with guest speaker Briony Mackie and we would like to invite you to join us. The service will begin at 6.30pm for adults to have worship, teaching and ministry. It is our sense that this will be a very significant time for many. Do join us!

Description: Join us for ‘An evening with CS Lewis' starring British actor David Payne in his powerfully inspirational one man theatrical performance. CS Lewis recalls the people and events that inspired his thoughts and shaped his life; of his friendship with J R R Tolkien; why he nearly abandoned the Narnia Chronicles; how he came to embrace Christianity and of the American woman who turned his life upside down.

Doors open at 7pm, performance starts at 7.45pm and finishes at 9.30pm. There will be a bar available before the performance and in the interval.

Description: Jonathan Veira is a renowned (and brilliantly funny) singer and musician with a wonderful gift for talking about his Christian faith in a natural way. He'll be sharing Christmas songs, carols and some great stories at 'A Christmas audience with Jonathan Veira'.

There will also be a collection for the Oasis Refugee Safe House appeal.
